About

We don't sell rods. We don't sell reels. We don't sell lures, line, or anything else that might actually help you catch a fish.

That's not an oversight. That's a policy.

See, if we sold you a good rod and you still went home empty-handed, that's on the rod. Bad reflection on us. But if we sell you a t-shirt that says you caught a 40-inch pike on a Tuesday afternoon in a canoe you built yourself, and you didn't — well, that's between you and whoever's dumb enough to ask for proof.

Fisherman Never Lies makes the gear for after the fishing. The shirt you wear to the bar where the story gets better. The mug that watches you exaggerate over coffee. The hat that says you know what you're doing, even on the days you very much do not.

We figure there are plenty of places that'll sell you the equipment to catch fish. We're the place that helps you talk about it once you're back on dry land.

Founded on the belief that the fish was bigger, the fight was longer, and nobody's checking.
